The educational technology assessments use a scoring tool that is part checklist and part rubric. Review the slide show below to learn more about using this tool to score student work.

Use the arrows on the bottom of the presentation window to advance or review content. You can access additional options, including saving or printing the presentation, by using the pull down menu. You can also make the presentation full-screen in size. There is no audio for this presentation.

Some assessments also include student exemplars. Others, do not. Exemplar sets are developed when teachers submit anonymous student work. The Anchor Sets clearly show each point of the scoring tool. The Practice Sets contain student work that is not easily scored. These sets can be used as models for teachers or students.

If you would like to field test one of the assessments and contribute to the exemplar sets, contact Tara. You can also earn 15 additional clock hours by enrolling in another Moodle course where you use one of the OSPI-developed assessments in your own classroom.
